We are looking for Technicians to work from Tracercos Houston office who has the passion and enthusiasm for delivering precision electro-mechanical and hydraulic subsea inspection technology, and who wants to be involved in the final development and then delivery of a unique and ground-breaking subsea pipeline inspection service for the Oil & Gas Industry Tracerco Discovery.
The role will require the individuals to initially embed into our project team for the final development of this unique technology. The successful candidates will be involved with the final stages of production, assisting with assembly, testing and procedures to ensure a smooth and successful transition into commercial work. They will then go on to be part of an offshore project team of engineers and technicians, providing this new pipeline inspection service to clients worldwide.
Qualifications/Requirements
Enthusiasm for leading-edge technology and a passion to deliver innovative inspection projects
Experience in pipeline inspection and/or engineering projects
Scientific or engineering background, ideally with a Degree or equivalent in Instrument / Electronic / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering, or significant proven relevant experience
Experience of operating and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment
Ability to regularly travel internationally, working within a fast moving global team
Excellent interpersonal skills, to be able to communicate effectively and confidently with customers, and to develop close working relationships with colleagues
Excellent written English and technical report writing skills
Demonstrable experience of offshore vessel and ROV operations would be advantageous
