We are currently recruiting for an Offshore HSE Medic to join our clients vessel on the 30th July for a 4 week rotation and the day rate to person is £450 per day. (Working UK inside the 12 mile zone)
This could include an additional 4 week trip at the beginning of October TBC - Please see below job description:
Directly Reports to Offshore Manager
Indirectly Reports to Lead HSE Advisor
Directly Supervises N/A
Key Interactions Offshore Crewing Coordinators, HSE & Quality Departments, Project / Operations Departments and the Offshore Team, Offshore Manager, Occupational Health Providers, Occupational Health Manager
3. JOB PURPOSE (summary of outputs of the job)
The Offshore HSE Medic is assigned on a full time, dedicated basis, as part of the project crew. Assigned the provision of primary care and emergency medical facility and for management of general health and well-being of all personnel. They advise on and monitor occupational health, hygiene, and crew well-being matters.
Empowered to assist the Offshore Manager in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all work activities. This will involve support and positive intervention to ensure that safe systems of work are in place and to highlight opportunities for improvement.
General administrative support and coordination between onshore and offshore personnel for crew changes and cabin allocation etc and maintenance of an accurate POB. This includes General administration in connection with offshore logistics.
Work in conjunction with the Offshore Manager for all incident investigation and assisted by Projects Staff, where necessary, to identify main and underlying causes and to make suitable recommendations.
Play an active role in the promotion of the Companys safety incentive scheme as well as other safety initiatives to continuously improve the vessels HSE performance.
Have a functional reporting line to the Lead HSE Advisor and maintain pro-active communications with the HSE Department to ensure that the Companys HSE standards and expectations are met and to obtain corporate support and guidance where required.
